Went rogue a bit and ordered a samsung q80t. It was on my radar as one of the best options. I was close to going OLED but a couple hundred less and no risk of burn in was the decider. Also getting it before the superbowl was key

I do miss my squeeze to launch Google Assistant terribly. I used that multiple times a day before and still find myself trying to do it.

New phone and phone news
The only reasons I've ever replaced a phone are for battery/hardware issues that aren't under warranty any more (except pixel 4xl that was due to face unlock being useless while masked). I'd agree any difference between the 2xl and 4a5g is unnoticed. Funny though how many people would replace phones...

Update: got the final plan for the built in. This design shows a 65" TV which the wife is ok with now. So I may look into an OLED set now since 65" OLED models are within my budget https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210121/819b10f6ef16becd5df352e2dca9e966.jpg Sent from my Pixel 5 using Ta...

92147 anyone read about the Armie Hammer scandal? read some of those DM's...... Jocelyn went down a deep rabbit hole over the weekend reading them. She said they are crazy. I just know they mention cannibalism and that's about it. I started really liking Armie over the past year or so. I am...

I think we are going with a 75" TV. It's between the Vizio P-Series Quantum X or the Sony X900H. Maybe whichever one goes on sale first. I came up with a design for our built-in look. Talked it over with the contractor that is finishing our basement and they are going to do it for us. Here's a...

The more the Wyze (and I assume all of these lidar robots) run the better they get. I am getting more and more impressed by the map and the ability to block off areas that it gets stuck (under bed, vanity cords, treadmill). Maybe I am crazy tho, but it seems like the robot is mostly around the peri...

Sounds like the setting is too high on the rinse aid is all. But we just use generic store brandTyler wrote:What does everyone use for rinse aid? Seems like I constantly have to put it in the dishwasher I got late 2019? I need to get a bigger size or something

YES! This is the reason I asked. The electrical contractor had placed the outlet for the TV really high on the wall, and I today told him I wanted it lower. Thanks bmyoungs for measuring! I was planning to be around 50" or more from floor to center, depending on how big of a TV I end up with. ...
