To date myself, I think these deserve an honorable mention

I updated mine after seeing Purple_Hayes. Can't believe I still had TWD on my list. I didn't add anything new, just trimmed the fat. Still too early to add The Wire.

-Dramas-
Breaking Bad/BCS
Game of Thrones
Justified
Veronica Mars

-Comedy-
Community
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Silicon Valley

-Reality-
Mythbusters
Nathan for You

I can honestly say that it is probably my top show, definitely top 3 with The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. Hard to beat those.

It's been on so long that you feel weird giving it up. It occasionally has really good episodes, but most is...not.

I have yet to watch season 7, probably won't now. Not interested in season 8. Killing Abraham was it for me... made Negan a liar to kill two people. Negan is a lot of things, but liar is not one. His disfuctional moral code that he stuck to is what made him so compelling in the comic. Speaking of which... how can AMC make one of the most interesting, compelling, awesome story lines of the comic book series so gawd awfully boring? Way to ruin a good thing. One day I may revisit TWD to finish it out, but as I stand today... nope, no interest. Just read spoilers to follow along on a once great show's decline into obscurity.

Exactly the same reason people can't stop watching a train wreck. I've been watching it purely so I can mock it with the community and hear the jokes made on the podcast. If Baldmove stopped covering it I would consider stopping myself.

It is not a good show, but it sometimes falls into the "it's so bad it's entertaining" category.

That's ridiculous. There is so much worse TV on than TWD. I still enjoy almost every episode. I haven't read the comics so I guess I can see if you've read them and don't like how it's strayed from the source material. I'll concede that there are quite a few bad moments (like the terrible CGI deer or anything involving the garbage people) but the story is still good and the acting is good for the most part.

My perennial favorites, shows I've watched all the way through more than once and probably will do so again:

The Wire
Deadwood
Rome (the HBO series)
Firefly
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Well, I probably will never do a full re-viewing of this series.)

Honorable mentions for that section would be Community and Justified.

Marco Polo was my favorite Netflix series but it got cancelled after the second season.

Breaking Bad was one of my favorite shows while it aired, but I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

When it comes to shows that are still being produced, Legion and Brockmire are probably my favorites, but since they've only had one season each there's plenty of room left for them to disappoint. (I thought the first couple seasons of Sons of Anarchy were great, but lost rapidly lost interest in the show past a certain point.)

Other shows I'm currently watching (I feel like a show has to be pretty damn good these days for me to bother watching it, or else it has to be only decent but right in my wheelhouse):

Halt and Catch Fire (added in a late edit)
Fargo
Bojack Horseman
Stranger Things
The Americans
Game of Thrones
Better Call Saul
The Expanse
American Gods
Narcos
Preacher (weak/uneven first season though)
