I cancelled. I could see a movie today but because of the limited options I won't be going. I can pay the $14 a month to see 2 movies on Friday morning or go during a discount $5 time.

I’m going to cancel because I heard that movie pass is giving a full refund for the year subscribers but have not got email about a refund yet

Crckrjack is still using. Travis, are you?

Corey, you using AMC enough to justify it? Maybe I'll look into that this winter, but would need to see 3 a month to make it worth it and even then it barely would be

You almost break even on it by seeing 1 movie in one of the fancy Dolby theaters here. It's something like $17 or $18 for a single ticket to those showings.

This! Our AMC theater also charges like $14 per showing for a normal evening showing. We'd probably go to a different, cheaper theater though if we were going without a movie plan.

MoviePass Is Now Re-Enrolling Former Customers in an 'Unlimited' Plan Unless They 'Opt Out'
According to the Verge, the company is now sending emails to what it described as a “select test group” of customers who it says did not opt in to the new three movies a month plan. The emails say that these subscribers’ accounts will be re-activated on October 4th and be put back on the monthly $9.95 billing cycle unless they click a specific opt-out link.

This company is so shady. I don't have the app installed, but I will be on the lookout for emails.

We’re hearing this morning that MoviePass accounted for 40% of the $1.67M opening ($668K) to John Travolta mob pic Gotti, which took headlines over the weekend for its 0% Rotten Tomatoes score from 23 critics. MoviePass also invested a couple million into this movie.

Holy cow at Gotti ripping off Goodfellas entirely.

I think American Animals is the other MoviePass movie the video is talking about, that movie is actually excellent though.
